But then again too few to mention
그렇지만 달리 보니,

I did what I had to do
끄집어내어 이야기할 정도로 많았던 것은 아냐

And saw it through without exemption
난 내가 해야 할 일을 했었고, 한치도 예외없이 그것을 끝까지 해냈지

I planned each chartered course
난 계획된 길을 따라가기도 했고,

Each careful step along the byway
샛길을 따라 조심스러운 걸음도 계획했었어

And more, much more than this
그리고.그 보다 더 가치있었던 것은

I did it my way
난 항상 내 방식대로 살았다는 거야

When I bit off more than I could chew
어떤 때는 지나치게 과욕을 부린 적도 있었지.

But through it all when there was doubt
하지만 그런 모든 일을 겪는 도중, 의심이 생길 땐

전적으로 신용했다가도, 딱 잘라 말하기도 서슴치 않았어I

faced it all and I stood tall
모든 것과 정면으로 맞서면서도,

난 당당했고, 내 방식대로 해냈던 거야

사랑도 해봤고, 웃기도, 울기도 했었지.

I've had my fill, my share of losing
가질 만큼 가져도 봤고 잃을 만큼 읽어도 봤지.

And now as tears subside
이제, 눈물이 가신 뒤에 보니,

I find it all so amusing
모두 즐거운 추억일 뿐이야

To think I did all that
내가 했던 모든 걸 생각하니,

And may I say not in a shy way
부끄러워 하지 않는 투로 이렇게 말해도 되겠지.

사나이가 사는 이유가 뭐고, 가진 것이 과연 뭐겠어?

그 자신의 주체성이 없다면, 가진게 아무 것도 없는거지

To say the things he truly feels
비굴한 사람들이 하는 말이 아니라, 자신이 진실로 느끼는 것을 말하는게

And not the words of one who kneels
진정 남자 아니겠어?

the record shows i tooked the blows
내 경력이 말해주고 있듯이 난 어려움을 피하지 않았고

and did it my way
항상 내 방식대로 해결했어

Yes, it was my way
